In good economic times, South Bay employees are hit with high costs of housing and or long drives to more affordable housing. Now that home prices are among the most-affordable in years, many are saying that this is the right time for certain home buyers. As a recent Wall Street Journal story put it, now is an excellent time if you:
(1) have ample cash for the downpayment,
(2) don’t plan to sell for at least 2-3 years,
(3) aren’t over-exposed or over-invested in real estate.
